Notre Dame

Notre Dame, Paris.

The final leg of my journey took me to the world-beloved Paris. My stay here was wonderful not only because of the splendor of Paris, but also because I was allowed to stay in the home of my good friend, Laure Coissac, who lives in the Latin Quarter. In fact, Laure was so kind as to arrange for my accomodation even though she wasn't present during my stay. Her mother, a kind and generous lady, treated me very well. She chatted with me whenever she could, told me about all the best attractions to be sure and see, cooked two delicious French dinners after long days of work, and went well beyond considerate when leaving a French breakfast on the kitchen table for me each morning before she went to work. Laure's brother, Alexi, was also there and he helped me out a lot, pointing me in good tourist directions. He also took me, with his friend Julian, to the Lourve.
