Lake Matheson, Fox Glacier, and Franz Josef Glacier
In Christchurch I liked to take little day trips to natural wonders. One outing was to Lake Matheson and the two New Zealand Glaciers, Fox and Franz Josef. We rented our car at 6:00pm and drove the six or so hours to Lake Matheson, camped on a little lawn and awoke for the sunrise.
